Literaturedata from Japan, the UK, Australia, Korea, Germany, France, and Mainland China will be collected for this project. This will be followed by an analysis of the swimming pool facilities at those universities as well as the actual state of swimming education and an analytical comparison with the situation in Taiwan. The proposed suggestions will be servedas a reference basis for the promotion of future policies. The project will be conducted in the following steps:
(1) Organizinga work team which will be in charge of collecting literaturedata on swimming facilities and curricula for the countries which are included in this project for investigation
(2) Compilation and analysis of data for each country and composition of a written report
(3) Comparative analysis with the actual conditions in Taiwan
(4) Presentthe results in form of a report draft which will be submitted to a conference of academic experts for discussion
(5) Amend the contents of theresults report
(6) Printing of the report and submission to the Ministry of Education
(7) Online announcement of the results report
