The International Sports Affairs Training Course (ISATC) begins on May 17th, 2024. Registration closes on April 21st for 120 participants, including 90 new trainees and 30 refresher trainees. The Sports Administration (SA) welcomes people from diverse backgrounds and proficient in foreign languages to register.

Since 2011, the SA has implemented ISATC program, now in its 14th year, with over 1,900 participants to date. This year, lecturers with substantial experience in international sports affairs are invited; they include International Olympic Committee member Mr. Ryu Seung-min, IOC Chair of the Culture and Olympic Heritage Commission Mrs. Khunying Patama Leeswadtrakul, international multi-sport event professional manager Li Neo Tay, Austrian Olympic Committee President Mr. Karl Stoss, and Games Advisor of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou Nur Laily Rahmawati. The Course also offers in-depth group discussion and practical cases to simulate international sports affairs situations. After the course, The SA offers support and internships in domestic and foreign events, seminars, exchanges, or workshops for program graduates. Topics cover negotiations and crisis management.

Ms. Huang Wen-chi, as a swimming athlete and a ISATC graduate, shared her valuable experiences in ISATC course. After graduating from university, Huang coached at prestigious swimming club in Singapore and completed the ISATC course in 2022; she now works at the Executive Office of the World Masters Games 2025 Taipei & New Taipei City. She will also be a counsellor for this year’s course.

The SA invites interested parties to register for the course to foster diverse perspectives and roles. Registration link: https://forms.gle/gNDXDjyN2WsUZ2QY7
