In order to promote sports talent employment and encourage enterprises to promote employee sports, July 4 to 22, 2022 the Sports Administration will hold the “Online Recruitment Week- Sports Talent Online Matching Meeting 2022”. Enterprises interested in recruiting talent with a sports background and sports personnel looking for employment are invited to attend the event to find their ideal enterprise or employee and together add vitality to employee sports and the sports talent employment market.

The program for the employment of sports instructors by enterprises has been implemented since 2018; it provides subsidies for employee sports activities, provides guidance and consulting and matches enterprises seeking talent and jobseekers. To date, enterprises have been guided to employ 477 sports professionals and 1,633 employee sports activities attended by more than 440,000 people have been subsidized. This year, despite the pandemic, many enterprises continue to employ sports talent and make good use of their skills; sports bring employees closer together and increases work efficiency, driving the fashion for enterprises sports and making workplaces happier.

The  “Online Recruitment Week- Sports Talent Online Matching Meeting 2022” is organized by the Sports Administration and implemented by the National Association of Small & Medium Enterprises, R.O.C. From last year (2021) the event has been held online, reaching more jobseekers and achieving very good results. At present, more than 20 selected enterprises (such as Taiwan Fu Hsing Industrial Co., Ltd., Shinkong Synthetic Fibers CORP., and Siliconware Precision Industries Co., Ltd. etc.) offer more than 800 job opportunities including sports coach, engineer, marketing and planning and financial accounting, with talent-seeking enterprises and job opportunities continuing to increase. During the online recruitment activity period, guidance and consulting will be provided for “resume health check” and job seeking skills etc. to help jobseekers understand their strengths and potential and explore the self to increase the chance of getting an interview and successful employment.
