Purpose
|
Actively promoting thejunior and senior high school basketball, fostering of inter-school exchanges, promote athleticspirit on our campuses, popularization of student sports activities, enhancehealth and physical fitness, andimprove basketball skills.

Task list
|
A senior high school basketball tournament and a junior high school basketball tournament are planned for this year. A planning committee will be convened in May. The tournament rules and regulations will be reported to the Ministry of Education before the end of May. Registrations will be processed between August 10 and October 5 (the registration deadline for the Level A tournament is September 13). The tournament will be held from October 13 to April 12, 2008. The Level A and Level B tournaments are composed of the following four stages:
Level A (Senior high): Preliminary round, second round, semifinals, and final
Level A (Junior high): Qualification round, preliminary round, second round, semifinals, final
Level B: Preliminary round (city/county), regional round, national finals

The tournament will be held from held from November 26 to April 19, 2008. The Level A and Level B tournaments are composed of the following two stages:

Level B: Preliminary round (city/county), national finals
