Exercise Enterprise Certification Awards and iSports Forum ‒ Realizing Corporate Responsibility and Fostering Healthy Employees
Sports and exercise are becoming increasingly popular in Taiwan. As a means of encouraging enterprises to place greater emphasis on promoting employee exercise and sports activities, this year the Sports Administration is promoting Exercise Enterprise Certification. On October 12, The Sports Administration, Ministry of Education (SAMOE) held the first official “Exercise Enterprise Certification Awards and iSports Forum public awards ceremony” where 50 enterprises from around the nation received certification. Vice President Chen Chien-jen made a special appearance at the ceremony to personally hand out the Exercise Enterprise Certification Mark. SAMOE Director General Jow-fei Ho explained that this Mark was awarded to all types of enterprises from small and medium-sized businesses to large corporations involved in a broad spectrum of industries. These recipients have established an enterprise sports and exercise culture in a variety of ways such as by organizing walks, hiking on Jade Mountain, round-island cycling trips, holding Enterprise Games, creating sports and exercise clubs, and sponsoring sports events. Those that have earned Exercise Enterprise Certification Mark approval will enjoy "Exercise Enterprise VIP" benefits, receive priority invitation to all sporting events and activities organized by the Sports Administration, and be authorized to use this Mark on their enterprise website, Facebook, and promotional materials. This Mark will help boost enterprise image and attract the recruitment of top quality employees.
“The Exercise Enterprise Certification Mark” aims to encourage enterprises' active involvement in sports promotion and cultivate employees' regular exercise habits. By doing so enterprises will realize their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and together support the development of the sports industry. Placing impetus on fostering healthy human resources improves brand value and positively impacts corporate image. This completes a triple crown where employees, enterprises, and the sports industry are all unanimous winners.

運動企業認證授證典禮暨i運動論壇，實現企業社會責任，重視員工健康
運動的風氣在臺灣越來越興盛，為鼓勵企業重視職工體育，教育部體育署今(105)年度推動運動企業認證，首屆辦理全臺已有50家企業獲得認證，10月12日(三)舉辦「運動企業認證授證典禮暨i運動論壇」公開授證，陳建仁副總統特別蒞臨授證典禮，親自將認證標章授予獲證企業，體育署何卓飛署長表示，通過認證標章的企業遍及各個產業，企業規模從大型集團到中小企業都有，透過健走、登玉山、單車環島、舉辦企業運動會、發展運動社團、贊助運動賽事等方式建構企業運動文化，獲證企業將享有「運動企業VIP」的優惠待遇，在體育署辦理的各項運動活動中，享有優先受邀權，並且得在企業官網、臉書、活動宣傳品上運用標章，對於提升企業形象、招募優質員工皆有所助益。
體育署推動「運動企業認證標章」，目的在於鼓勵企業積極推動運動，建立員工規律運動習慣，實現關懷員工的「企業社會責任」，並且協同企業力量支持運動產業發展，彰顯企業的健康人力資源與品牌價值，創造員工、企業、運動產業三贏的局面。

SH150 "Regular Exercise Makes You Smarter" Campus Tour
The Sports Administration, Ministry of Education (SAMOE) encourages schools to develop their own unique and creative sports and exercise activities, specifically ones that motivate student interest and cultivate regular exercise habits, enlivening students with health and vitality. SAMOE overhauled the fitness exercise program for junior high school and high school levels and started in September 2016 began touring 28 junior high schools and high schools throughout the northern, central, southern, eastern, and western regions nationwide. In addition to the 28 tours, 4 schools opened up an online voting portal and those schools with the most votes would be visited by the SH150 Touring Vehicle. A total of 128 schools across the nation have registered to participate in the touring activity with 127,718 participants casting votes. The four schools with the most votes were New Taipei Municipal An Kang High School (18,672 votes), Taipei Municipal Dun Hua Junior High School (17,800 votes), and Taichung Municipal San Guang Junior High School (15,373 votes).
The Sports Administration has been implementing the SH150 Plan since the start of the 2013 academic year in efforts to ensure students get 150 minutes of exercise per week on campus. This initiative will provide an environment for students to cultivate regular exercise habits and physical fitness. In order to open up a diversity of SH150 Plan options, we have devised 4 main modules for schools to reference during implementation. Module A “Morning Exercise”, Module B “Break Time Exercise”, Module C “After School Exercise”, and Module D “Mixed Module Exercise”.

SH150規律運動讓你更聰明 校園巡迴活動
教育部體育署鼓勵各校發展屬於自己的特色運動，尤其可以透過創意運動的方式，引發學生運動興趣、培養規律運動習慣，帶給學生活力、健康。針對國中、高中階段，體育署改編九年一貫健身操，並自今(105)年9月起，開始巡迴全國北、中、南、東28所國、高中，除了這28所巡迴場次外，也開放4所學校進行網路投票活動，獲得票數高的學校有「SH150巡迴車」開進他們學校。統計全國共有128所學校報名參加巡迴活動，127,718人次參與投票，前四高票學校為新北市新店安康高中(18,672票)、臺北市松山區敦化國中(17,800票)、臺中市北屯區三光國中(15,373票)。
教育部體育署自102學年度起所推行「SH150方案」，主要就是希望學校能夠落實每週在校運動150分鐘，讓學生都能養成規律運動習慣，同時也擁有健康的體適能，另外，為了讓學校能有更多元的「SH150方案」推動方式，體育署也推出四大模組提供學校進行SH150活動的參考，分別是「模式A晨間運動」、「模式B大課間運動」、「模式C課後運動」與「模式D混合模式」。

Vice President Chen Chien-jen Receives International School Sport Federation (ISF) President Mr. Laurent Petrynka
International School Sports Federation (ISF) President Laurent Petrynka and delegation visited Taiwan from October 19 to 22. On the morning of the 20th, the Sports Administration specially arranged for the ISF delegation to visit the Presidential Office and meet with Vice President Chen Chien-jen. That same afternoon they were received by Ministry of Education Political Deputy Minister Tsai Ching-hwa, accompanied by Sports Administration and Chinese Taipei School Sport Federation (CTSSF) representatives.
Since its establishment back in 1972, the ISF has seen its membership flourish over the years. Now, there are over 90 member nations from the five continents throughout the world. In addition to holding a wide variety of single-sport world championship events annually, every 2 to 3 years it also organizes the Gymnasiade, which gives high school students from around the world the opportunity to exchange ideas and learn from one another.
During the ISF delegation's visit, they shared ideas with our nation about international student sports development and educational activities, and ISF President Petrynka extended an invitation for our nation to host the 2020 Gymnasiade. Our nation also invited ISF delegation members to come back to Taiwan 2017 to take part in the Taipei Universiade.
Taiwan has been actively participating in all types of ISF events and activities for many years. At the 2016 Gymnasiade in Turkey our nation won 9 gold, 10 silver, and 13 bronze medals. We anticipate that in the future Taiwan will have more opportunities to engage in cooperation and exchanges, working together to promote international youth educational and sports exchanges.

陳建仁副總統接見國際學校體育總會(ISF) 會長勞倫．貝亭卡一行人
國際學校體育總會(ISF)會長勞倫‧貝亭卡(Laurent Petrynka)等一行人於10月19日至22日來臺參訪，在體育署的安排下，於20日上午拜會總統府，晉見陳建仁副總統；下午則由教育部蔡次長清華代表接見，並由體育署及高中體總陪同出席。
ISF自1972年成立以來，會員與會務蓬勃發展，迄今已有將近90個會員國，遍布世界五大洲，除了定期舉辦各類單項錦標賽外，每2到3年也會舉辦世界中學生運動會(Gymnasiade)，讓全球青年有機會透過運動互相交流。
ISF一行人於訪臺期間就國際學生體育發展及教育活動與我國交換意見，會長邀請我國主辦2020年世界中學生運動會，而我方亦邀請各訪賓於明(2017)年來臺參加臺北市舉辦的世界大學運動會。
臺灣長久以來積極參與ISF各項賽會及活動，2016年土耳其世界中學生運動會更獲得9金10銀13銅佳績，期盼臺灣未來能有更多合作與交流的機會，共同為促進全球青年教育及運動交流而努力。

Sports New Southbound Policy Promotion Plan Promoting Bilateral Exchanges and Encouraging New Resident and Migrant Worker Participation
The Sports Administration's Sports New Southbound Policy Promotion Plan comprises three main policy initiatives: expanding bilateral sports exchanges, encouraging new residents to participate in Sport for All, and opening up exchange pipelines for sports leaders. These are all included in the Talent Exchange Pipeline initiatives set forth in the Ministry of Education's New Southbound Policy.
Taiwan shares close geographical proximity with neighboring Southeast Asian countries and in recent years the region has experienced rapid economic development and social progress. In view of these conditions our nation launched the New Southbound Policy and established the core policy objectives of "people-oriented, bilateral exchanges, and sharing resources." The Sports Administration adopted the fundamental principles of that policy in drafting the Sports New Southbound Policy Promotion Plan, which was designed to strengthen bilateral sports exchanges with New Southbound nations. Aside from the existing exchanges involving participation in competitive events, training, and sports research, the work plan also includes initiatives that will further promote greater bilateral sports exchanges and cooperation such as organizing New Southbound nations' Student Leagues, National Intercollegiate Athletic Games, National High School Athletic Games, National Sport for All games, and a National Games exchange program. This Plan will also broaden the scope of the Sport for All policy initiatives to ensure the rights of new residents and foreign workers to exercise by promoting sports and exercise in new resident communities, establishing a domestic foreign worker sports exchange platform, and promoting foreign worker sports competitions and activities. These initiatives will reach out and embrace Taiwan's new residents and foreign workers encouraging them to become an integral link in Taiwan's close relationship with New Southbound nations.
The Sports Administration reiterated that the Sports New Southbound Policy Promotion Plan comprises 3 main initiatives and 18 work plans. It was scheduled to begin implementation in 2017 and will be subject to ongoing modifications once actual implementation is underway. Once implemented, this Plan would promote bilateral sports exchanges abroad with other nations and focus domestically on ensuring the rights of new residents and migrant workers to participate in sports and exercise activities. These initiatives will help cultivate a healthy population domestically and create a win-win situation for bilateral exchanges with New Southbound nations.

體育新南向，國內外雙向交流並鼓勵新住民、外籍移工參與
體育署新南向推動計畫主要有三項策略主軸，包括擴展雙向體育運動交流、鼓勵新住民參與全民運動及拓展體育領導人交流管道，並經納入教育部「新南向政策」之「人員交流管道（Pipeline）」項下執行。
東南亞等國除地理位置與我國接近外，近年來區經濟與社會進步快速，有鑒於此，我國推出「新南向政策」，並以「以人為本、雙向交流、資源共享」做為政策核心目標。教育部體育署依循此脈絡，研擬「體育新南向政策推動計畫」，加強辦理與新南向政策國家雙向體育交流，除原有參賽、培訓、體育研習等交流工作計畫，亦規劃辦理新南向國家於學生聯賽、全國大專校院運動會、全國中等學校運動會、全民運動會及全國運動會交流計劃，期深化體育雙向交流與合作。另為發揮全民運動政策之影響力，及保障新住民及外籍移工運動權，推動新住民社區運動推廣、建構國內外籍移工運動交流平臺、推動移工運動會等體育活動，以加強關懷在臺新住民及外籍移工，使其成為鍊結臺灣與新南向國家關係的重要優勢。
體育署表示，體育署的「體育新南向政策推動計畫」由3大策略、18項工作計畫組成，預計自106年度開始執行，並將視實際執行狀況滾動修正計畫，期落實與新南向政策國家雙向體育交流，並表達對國內新住民、外籍移工運動權之重視，以為臺灣培育健康卓越的人才，開創與新南向國家互利共贏的體育交流。

Vice President Chen Chien-jen Meets International University Sports Federation (FISU) President
On October 19, International University Sports Federation (FISU) President Oleg Matytsin and members of the Executive Committee met with our nation's Vice President Chen Chien-jen along with Taipei City Mayor Ke Wen-je. The Vice President stated that the promotion of sports has been among our government's most important education policy initiatives, and he hopes that hosting the 2017 Taipei Universiade will inspire an even greater enthusiasm for sports throughout the nation.
The 2017 Taipei Summer Universiade will be the largest international sports event ever held in Taiwan. Since receiving the rights to host the 2017 Universiade, everyone involved has been working very hard in the preparation and planning. Throughout the preparation process with the Taipei Universiade Organizing Committee (TUOC) and others involved, we are confident that President Matytsin and the Executive Committee members have felt Taiwan's vibrant spirit and enthusiasm devoted to the Taipei Universiade.
The Universiade is the second largest international multi-sport event behind only the Olympics in scale. The Summer Universiade is held biennially and attracts the participation of over ten thousand athletes from around the world. It is a sports extravaganza where you can witness the making of young legends and dreams coming true. Next year's event will give us a chance to show the world Taipei City's hospitality, enthusiasm, and vitality and help to make the world a better place by embracing the power of youth.
During this meeting Vice President Chen expressed his gratitude to FISU for all of the support it has given Taipei in hosting the Universiade and invited everyone back for another visit. He also reiterated the central government's ongoing commitment to the Universiade, giving the Taipei City Government complete support and fostering close cooperation with FISU. Together we can make the 2017 Universiade the most successful ever!

陳建仁副總統接見國際大學運動總會（FISU）會長一行人
國際大學運動總會(FISU)執委會長Oleg Matytsin等人於10月19日晉見我國陳副總統建仁，並由臺北市市長柯文哲陪同與會。副總統表示，推廣運動向來是我政府教育政策的重點之一，希望藉由舉辦「2017世界大學運動會」燃起全國對運動的熱情。
「2017世界大學運動會」是臺灣歷年來舉辦最大型的國際運動賽會，自成功取得2017世大運主辦權後，各界即積極進行相關籌備工作及規劃。相信Matytsin會長和執委們在籌備期間與臺北組織委員會和各界合作的過程，都能感受到臺灣的活力及我們對臺北世大運所投注的熱情。
世大運為僅次於奧運等級的綜合性運動賽會，每兩年舉辦一次的夏季世大運都會吸引上萬名選手參加，是一場見證青春傳奇與實現青年夢想的運動饗宴。明年的賽事除向全世界傳達臺北的友善、熱情與活力，並讓世界因擁抱青春的力量而更加美好。
副總統於本次會面中對FISU支持臺北舉辦世大運表達特別的感謝，並歡迎訪賓再次來訪，同時重申中央政府對世大運的重視，願意給予臺北市全力的支援外，也將與FISU密切合作，共同將2017世大運打造為最成功的賽會。

2016 "I'm a Sports Entrepreneur" Awards Donghsi Technology Wins Entrepreneur Group First Prize
In efforts to heighten public interest for promoting the development of the sports services industry, last year the Sports Administration began organizing the "I'm a Sports Entrepreneur" sports services industry innovation and entrepreneurship contest. This program's slogan is "Sports Entrepreneur 1, 2, 3"—NT$1 million in venture capital, 2 years of career counseling, and 3 years of operational feedback." By encouraging and rewarding creativity and providing supplemental educational training and consultation from industry experts, this contest cultivated and developed innovative entrepreneurial teams with great potential.
Following 5 months of intense competition a total of 14 teams were chosen to battle it out at the 2016 "I'm a Sports Entrepreneur" Awards Entrepreneur Group finals held on October 26. Each elite team received consultation from industry experts whom assisted them in channeling creativity into the sports service industry and helped draft business plans. After four grueling stages of fierce competition, Donghsi Technology won 1st place receiving NT$200,000 in prize money; ProActiv came in 2nd place receiving NT$150,000; VolleyCube took 3rd place receiving NT$100,000; Chenghao Sports came in 4th place receiving NT$60,000; and Tenniac came in 5th place receiving NT$40,000. Five teams (Satisfied Plan, Avengers of Fat, Two-Way Skate, Dr. S, and Redragon) were chosen as Great Works with each receiving NT$20,000 in prize money. All of these teams that have been selected above are eligible to receive Sports Administration entrepreneurial counseling and up to NT$1 million in start-up assistance.

105年度「我是運動創業家」動析科技隊榮獲創業組冠軍大贏家
為提升運動服務產業的民眾投入意願並促進產業發展，自去年(104年)開始辦理「我是運動創業家」運動服務業創新創業競賽，以「運動創業123」為口號，祭出100萬創業金、2年內輔導創業、3年後營運回饋之優惠方案，期藉由競賽創意發想，輔以教育訓練與業界導師諮詢輔導，培植及開發具潛力之創新創業團隊。
105年度「我是運動創業家」競賽，「創業組」參賽隊伍在歷經5個月的激烈競爭後，創業組共計14組隊伍於10月26日進行最終廝殺，各隊菁英在14位業界高階經理人組成的業師輔導團協助授業下，將創意元素融入運動服務產業並研擬創業營運構想計畫，歷經四個階段的激烈競爭後，選出冠軍隊伍「動析科技」獎金20萬元；第2名「博動健康會」獎金15萬元；第3名「翻轉排球」獎金10萬元；第4名「政好運動」獎金6萬元；第5名「網球愛客」獎金4萬元；佳作5隊分別為「滿足計畫」、「腹愁者聯盟」、「TWO-WAY SKATE」、「Dr.S運動先生」及「Redragon」獎金各2萬元，以上獲選團隊可獲得體育署創業諮詢及最高100萬元的創業補助金。

Australian University Sport (AUS) Visits Taiwan to Sign Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
AUS CEO Meets Sports Administration to Promote Bilateral Sports and Academic Exchanges
The Australian University Sport (AUS) CEO Don Knapp visited Taiwan from October 19 to the 22, and on October 20 signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Chinese Taipei University Sports Federation (CTUSF). AUS was the first university sport federation to sign an exchange agreement with CTUSF, a major achievement in our nation's efforts to promote university international exchanges. On October 21, Chief Secretary Han-chong Wang of Sports Administration met with AUS CEO Don Knapp to share respective ideas and initiatives for future sports exchanges.
CEO Don Knapp said that Taiwan and Australia have a lot in common. Aside from both being island nation with a population of 23 million, the two nation's share many similarities involving sports initiatives. For instance, recently the Australian government has been emphasizing the expansion of exchanges and interactions with nations throughout Asia and this November the AUS would participate in the Asian University Sports Federation (AUSF) General Assembly held in Xiamen, China, seeking opportunities to participate in Asian university sports exchanges and activities. Right now our nation is promoting the New Southbound Policy and Australia is one of the key targets. Signing this MoU would allow both sides to engage in more specialized exchanges in the future.
CEO Don Knapp explained that the AUS holds the Australian University Games biannually in September. These Games include 32 sports and about 6,500 students from around the nation compete. Plans are currently underway to add an international group, and once established, a delegation from Taiwan will be invited to compete. Chief Secretary Wang, Sports Administration also anticipated that promoting exchanges in each nation's respective powerhouse sports, such as our nation's weightlifting, baseball, and taekwondo and Australia's basketball, swimming, and canoeing would serve to both increase intercollegiate exchanges and strengthen the friendship and cooperation between our two nations.

澳洲大專體總來臺簽訂交流協定執行長拜會體育署，增進兩國體育及教育交流
澳洲大專體育總會執行長Don Knapp於10月19日至22日應邀來臺參訪，並於10月20日與中華民國大專院校體育總會簽訂國際交流協定(Memorandum of Understanding, MoU)，成為第一個與我國簽訂交流協議的大專體育總會，也是今年我國大專國際交流的重要成果。為交換雙方對於未來體育交流的政策與看法，體育署王主任秘書漢忠於10月21日與澳洲大專體總執行長Don Knapp會面。
Don Knapp執行長表示，臺灣與澳洲有許多共同點，除均為島國並擁有2,300萬人口外，許多體育政策都有相似之處，如澳洲政府近期開始重視與亞洲各國之交流互動，澳洲大專體總將於11月前往廈門參加亞洲大學體育總會(Asian University Sports Federation, AUSF)會員大會，爭取參與亞洲地區大學體育交流活動；我國亦正朝新南向政策前進，澳洲也屬該政策的重要對象之一，透過MOU的簽署，雙方未來將有更進一步的專業交流。
Don Knapp執行長表示，澳洲大專體總每兩年會固定於9月底舉辦全國大專運動會，包含了32個運動種類，全國約有6,500名學生參賽，而目前正規劃於其中增設國際組，屆時適可邀請臺灣組隊參賽。體育署王主任秘書亦強調，希望藉由雙方擅長的項目，例如我國的舉重、棒球、跆拳道等；澳洲的籃球、游泳及輕艇等，加強校際間的交流，深化彼此間的友誼與合作關係。
